Bell Rock is located a short drive south of the town of Sedona, Arizona along Hwy 179. It offers sweeping views of the surrounding valley, easy to difficult hiking, and rock scrambling galore. It is a rewarding view near the bottom, but for those brave enough to climb near the top, you get a picturesque view of the Arizona landscape.
There is a parking lot at the base of Bell Rock at Court House Vista. There is a $5 parking fee taken at a credit card only machine at the trail head if you do not have a permit already, or inter-agency pass. The lot fills up quickly, but there is overflow parking up the road.
There are many paths around the rock for hikers and bikers of all skill levels, and they are clearly marked. Most people scramble up the rock as far as they can, pose for a selfie, and then continue on. Well worth it considering the short drive from Sedona.
