Alaskan Cruise Day 1

Cruise Day 1!

We got up early to figure out where we had to go check in.  It so happened that all we had to do was walk across the street to get to the ship and check in. We were up way too early and so we decided to find a cup of coffee and tea. It was a cool and rainy morning, a perfect day for something warm to drink. I love Vancouver. The hustle and bustle of people getting to work, the architecture and fresh feel.

We still got to check-in way too early and it took like 15 minutes and so then we just had to sit in a room for an hour. Candy Crush doesn’t give you enough lives for that amount of time.  Finally we were able to get on the boat and find our room. The room was small but perfect. The balcony was awesome to have. The first day of any cruise can be a little slow. They give you plenty of time to get settled, tour the boat and figure out what to eat and of course, where the bar is. We were so lucky that that agency that booked the cruise for us gave us the unlimited drinks package. The price of drinks is actually quite reasonable otherwise.

It was fun tolling through the port. We didn’t realize how large it was.

And at last we were at sea. We were mesmerized by the serenity of the scenery.

We hadn’t seen anything like it. It felt like it was meant to be.
